毎年アーティストとコラボする酔鯨純米大吟醸DAITO。2020年は、初めて有名建築家の谷尻誠氏にデザインを依頼し、それを囲む座談会として、2020 SUIGEI DRUNKEN WHALE BANQUETを開催。

酔鯨酒造様の最高級酒として開発してきた純米大吟醸 DAITO。毎年アーティストとコラボしたアートディレクションボトル。誕生5周年を迎えた2020年モデルは、国内を代表する有名建築家の谷尻誠氏にデザインを依頼。

過去には、美術家の清川あさみ氏、金箔アーティストの裕人礫翔（ひろとらくしょう）氏などを迎え、最高峰の日本酒にふさわしいプレゼンテーションを展開してきました。そして2020年に白羽の矢を立てたのが、建築家である谷尻 誠氏。『主張しない主張』とサスティナビリティなどのテーマを加えたデザインは、全てを削ぎ落とした谷尻 誠氏ならではのデザイン。

また、例年DAITOの新作発表を兼ねたマリアージュディナー会 SUIGEI DRUNKEN WHALE BANQETを開催していましたが、コロナ禍でイベント自粛の社会情勢であったため、本年度は、DAITOを囲み、谷尻氏が特に親しい著名なクリエーターや酔鯨の大倉社長様を招いて、座談会として開催しました。

クリエーターには、元CRAZY WEDDINGの創業者 山川咲氏やBEAMSコミュニケーションディレクター土井地博氏をお招きし、予約の取れないレストラン HITOTEMAで開催。HITOTEMAのお料理をマリアージュで酔鯨と楽しむクリエイティブが詰まったお話の座談会となりました。

Suigei Junmai Daiginjo DAITO collaborates with artists every year. In 2020, we asked the famous architect Makoto Tanijiri for the design for the first time, and held the 2020 SUIGEI DRUNKEN WHALE BANQUET as a roundtable discussion around it.

Junmai Daiginjo DAITO, which has been developed as the finest sake for Suigei Shuzo. An art direction bottle that collaborates with artists every year. The 2020 model, which celebrated its 5th anniversary, was designed by Makoto Tanijiri, a famous architect representing Japan. In the past, we have invited artists such as Asami Kiyokawa and gold leaf artist Hirotorakusho to give presentations suitable for the highest quality sake. And it was Makoto Tanijiri, an architect, who set the arrow for Shirahane in 2020. The design with themes such as "non-assertive claim" and sustainability is a design unique to Makoto Tanijiri, who has stripped everything away.

In addition, the mariage dinner party SUIGEI DRUNKEN WHALE BANQET, which also served as the announcement of DAITO's new work throughout the year, was a social situation of refraining from events due to the corona disaster, so this year, Mr. Tanijiri is a prominent creator and whale who is particularly close to DAITO. We invited Mr. Okura, the president of the company, to hold a roundtable discussion. Former CRAZY WEDDING founder Saki Yamakawa and BEAMS Communication Director Hiroshi Doi were invited as creators to hold the event at the restaurant HITO TEMA where reservations cannot be made. It was a round-table talk about creative activities to enjoy HITOTEMA's cuisine with Suigei Shuzo.
